Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 July 2026

This is a plain-language summary of our terms, not a substitute for reading them in full. If you have questions about anything below, contact us before booking.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By requesting a quote or using the Removals 2GO service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Service description

Removals 2GO provides rubbish removal, furniture removal, and related clearance services across greater Sydney. All services are subject to availability and acceptance at our discretion.

3. Quotes, disclosed scope and variations

Quotes are based on the information, photos, and descriptions you provide. If the actual job on the day differs materially from what was disclosed — more volume, different materials, restricted access, or additional items — we will discuss this with you and agree any variation to the price or scope before proceeding. We do not charge for undisclosed variations without first telling you.

4. Payment

When you accept a quote, you choose how to pay: securely online by credit or debit card (processed through Stripe), or in person by cash or PayID. Online payments are confirmed automatically once processed. Cash and PayID payments remain pending until we confirm that payment was actually received — selecting one of these methods does not itself mean payment has been made. Full payment of the accepted quote is required to confirm your booking. If an on-site variation is agreed, it is billed as a separate amount and shown to you before it applies.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your booking. If you give us more than 24 hours' notice before the scheduled job, your payment may be credited toward a rescheduled booking. If you cancel or fail to provide access with less than 24 hours' notice, your payment is non-refundable, as it reserves a crew and time slot that we are then unable to fill.

6. Access, safety and accurate information

You are responsible for providing accurate information about the job and for ensuring safe access to the items being removed. We reserve the right to decline or cease work where conditions pose a safety risk to our crew, or where the job differs materially from what was disclosed and no variation has been agreed.

7. Prohibited and hazardous materials

We do not remove asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing material, chemicals, medical or biohazard waste, gas bottles or pressurised containers, or uncontained liquids, under any circumstances. Gas-connected appliances must be disconnected by a licensed gasfitter before we can remove them. Strip-out work is limited to non-structural removal — any electrical, plumbing, gas, or structural work must be completed by a licensed trade beforehand. You warrant that no prohibited materials are included in your job, and agree to tell us if you're unsure whether something falls into one of these categories.

8. Our crew and subcontractors

Jobs are currently carried out by our own trained crew. We may, from time to time, engage suitably qualified and insured subcontractors to help deliver part of the service — for example, for specialised work outside our own crew's scope. Using this service does not guarantee that any specific individual will attend your job.

9. Delays outside our reasonable control

Occasionally a job may be delayed by traffic, weather, vehicle issues, access problems, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where this happens, we will contact you as soon as practical to reschedule or adjust timing.

10. Damage and complaints

If you believe our crew has caused damage to your property, please tell us as soon as possible, ideally before the crew leaves the site, so we can assess it directly. For any other complaint, please contact us using the details below — every complaint is read and responded to personally, and we aim to resolve it as quickly as we reasonably can.

11. Liability and your consumer guarantees

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those non-excludable rights, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a job is limited to the amount paid for that job. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to property that existed before our crew arrived.

12. Photos and privacy

Photos and videos you provide as part of a quote or job are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date below reflects the most recent substantive change. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
