Removals 2GOPty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We collect information you provide when requesting a quote or booking a service — your name, email address, phone number, service address, and the photos or videos you upload to describe your job. If you create an account, we hold your login and booking history. If you submit a review, we hold your rating, tags, and any written feedback. We also collect standard web analytics data such as IP address and browser type.
Your information is used to provide our removal and clearance services, prepare and send you a quote, communicate with you about your booking, process payments, and improve our service. We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to your booking without your consent.
Photos you upload as part of a quote request may be analysed by a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to help our team assess the scope of a job. This analysis assists our team — every quote is reviewed by a person before it's sent to you, not generated or finalised by AI alone.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. To run the service, we share relevant information with the following providers, each acting on our behalf: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (our database and secure file storage), Resend (sending booking and account emails), Anthropic (AI-assisted photo analysis, described above), and Vercel (website hosting). Each provider only receives what it needs to perform its function, and is required to protect your information under its own privacy and security commitments.
Card payments are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details on our own systems.
Photos and videos you upload are used to assess and quote your job, and are stored securely. They are only shared with the AI analysis service described above and with our crew as needed to complete your job. If we ask to feature a photo of completed work publicly (for example, in a before/after gallery), we will ask for your separate, explicit permission first — uploading a quote photo does not itself give us permission to publish it.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including secure hosting and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and resolve any disputes. When it's no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at removals2go@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Deletion may be limited where we're required to keep certain records — for example, for tax or dispute-resolution purposes.
Some of the service providers listed above are based overseas, including in the United States (our AI analysis, payment processing, email, and hosting providers). By using our services, you consent to your personal information being disclosed to these overseas recipients for the purposes described in this policy.
If you opt in when creating an account, we may send you occasional offers and updates by email. This is always optional and separate from your acceptance of these policies. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly.
If you submit a review, we keep a record of it linked to the job it relates to. An approved review may be displayed publicly showing your first name and last initial only — never your full name, address, phone number, or email.
Our website uses cookies to support core functionality (like keeping you signed in and remembering booking progress) and to understand site traffic. Essential cookies required for the booking system can't be disabled; you can manage other cookies in your browser settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date below reflects the most recent substantive change.
